Frequently asked questions
- Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so your images stay on your device the whole time.
- Which image formats work?
JPG and PNG work everywhere, and WebP, GIF and other formats work as long as your browser can display them. iPhone HEIC photos open in Safari, and on other browsers it's easiest to export them as JPG first.
- Will my photos lose quality?
JPG and PNG files go into the PDF exactly as they are. Images that need turning or converting are saved again at high quality, and very large photos are scaled down a little so phones can handle them.
- Which page size should I choose?
A4 is the standard for documents in most of the world and US Letter is used in North America. Same as image makes each page exactly the size of its picture, which works well for screenshots.
