Version 1.1: Email Intake & Live Updates

Focus: Email-driven workflows, real-time data, and a smoother shipment experience

Major Features:

Email Management

  • Personal Intake Address: Every workspace now gets a unique email address. Forward shipping emails (with their attachments) and Sail picks them up automatically.
  • Communication Tab: A dedicated view for every email that lands in your workspace. Read the body, browse attachments, and keep the conversation tied to its shipment.
  • Link Emails to Shipments: Attach an email to an existing shipment in two clicks, or create a brand new shipment from an email and its attachments. Sail extracts what it can up front.

Submission & Workflow

  • Fill-to-Trade Modal: A new fill-to-trade experience with cleaner field labels, in-context status messages, and notifications when your draft is ready.
  • Create Declaration from an Invoice: A new button right inside invoice details. Start your declaration where the data already lives.

Real-Time Updates

  • Live Workspace: Your workspace now reflects changes in real time. When a teammate edits a value or an extraction completes, you see it instantly without refreshing.

Document Power-Ups

  • New Document: SAD: Full support for the Single Administrative Document. Upload, extract, and validate just like the rest of your stack.
  • Dedicated Documents Page: A unified, filterable, sortable view of every document across every shipment.
  • Packing Lists Auto-Link to Invoices: We now link packing lists to the right invoice for you, with smart preselection.
  • Arrival & Departure Dates: Extract arrival and departure dates directly from your documents.

Smarter Weight & HS Distribution

  • Reworked Apply HS Code: A revamped flow for applying HS codes across line items, including distribution by HS for cleaner allocations.
  • Improved Weight Distribution: Better matching and more reliable splits across shipments.

Polish & Quality of Life

  • New Shipment Details Page: A redesigned shipment details page that puts the right information in front of you faster.
  • Country Search: Find countries by typing instead of scrolling through dropdowns.
  • Origin Column in Shipments Grid: See origin in the grid without opening each shipment.
